Zendaya did not name a specific brand in the interview. We do not assume a brand. Several beauty editors have inferred it could be Lancôme's L'Absolu Lacquer (per her ambassador role), but this is unconfirmed.
Skincare philosophy
Just 'drinking more water' does not replace a skincare routine. It's good for you no doubt, but it will not make all your blemishes disappear overnight, especially for those with problem skin.
Lancôme is known for its color range, which is important to me.
What is not documented
To be transparent about the limits of the public record — and the things we removed from this dossier rather than fabricate:
- The widely-cited "SPF, SPF, SPF! This is absolutely my ultimate nonnegotiable" quote is attributed to a 2020 Glamour story across dozens of secondary blogs, but we cannot locate the primary Glamour URL. Until we find it, we use her NewBeauty/ELLE quote (same sentiment) instead.
- The "I never skip moisturizer — I feel like my face would just crack in half" quote is attributed to British Vogue across secondary sources, but we cannot locate the primary Vogue URL either.
- We did not document specific Lancôme cleansers, masks, or sunscreens (Miel-En-Mousse, UV Expert Aquagel, Génifique Hydrogel Mask) — these are featured in her Lancôme campaign visuals but we found no verbatim quotes from Zendaya about them personally.
- She frequently mentions doing her own facials at home using witch hazel, rose water, and vitamin E oil (W Magazine) but does not name specific product brands for these.
- Her professional makeup artist (Sheika Daley) uses many other products on her for red carpets — those are not Zendaya's personal routine and we don't list them.
